Dress Rehearsals

TD Canada Trust Student Dress Rehearsals

Every year, more than 5,000 secondary and post-secondary students attend the final dress rehearsals of Vancouver Opera’s mainstage productions at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

Teachers are invited to book for groups of students to attend the final dress rehearsal of one or more of this year's productions.

Tickets: $15 each (including taxes)
One teacher or adult chaperone ticket may be purchased per ten student tickets. Tickets must be booked and paid for in advance, no later than three weeks prior to the performance. Tickets will not be issued until payment is received. There are no refunds or exchanges on Dress Rehearsal tickets.

Dress Rehearsal Dates:

West Side Story: October 20, 2011
Romeo et Juliette: November 24, 2011
Barber of Seville: March 15, 2012
Aida: April 19, 2012

Curtain: 7pm

Eligibility: Tickets are sold to groups from official school/post-secondary institutions only – single tickets are not available. Tickets must be booked by faculty, who must also attend with the group. Post-secondary students must be in a full-time music or theatre arts program.
