Hockey games and other events make downtown Vancouver an exciting and busy place! Please allow plenty of time to park and get to the theatre.
Remember: doors open at 6:15 pm, free preview talks in the theatre begin at 6:30 pm, and all productions start at 7:30 pm sharp!
Please note that latecomers will not be seated until an appropriate break in the performance.

Getting to the Theatre by Public Transit
The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is located near the Stadium-Chinatown Station, on the Expo and Millennium lines. The area is also well served by bus routes. Visit the Translink website to plan your trip.

* Turn LEFT onto BEATTY
* Turn LEFT onto PENDER
* Turn LEFT onto CAMBIE
* Take the SEYMOUR Exit
* Turn RIGHT onto WEST GEORGIA

* Take the FIRST AVE Exit, exit number 27
* Turn LEFT onto E 1ST AVE
* E 1ST AVE becomes TERMINAL AVE

* Turn LEFT to take the HWY-1A W ramp towards HWY-99 N/CITY CENTRE
* Stay straight to go onto DUNSMUIR

Reduced Capacity in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Lot
With the exception of a limited number of spaces for disabled patrons, there is VERY LIMITED PARKING ON OPERA PERFORMANCE NIGHTS. Please explore other options.Disabled parking reservations - please call 604.665.2193
Parking Meters
City of Vancouver parking meters are now in effect until 10:00 pm. Our performances rarely end by 10:00 pm. Therefore you risk getting a ticket and being towed! You can 'top up' your parking meter by phone - click here to learn about Pay-by-Phone parking.
Park for only $10.00 at the BC Hydro Building!
There are 300 parking stalls under the BC Hydro Building, just 1 block from the theatre complex. The lot is located at the corner of Homer and Dunsmuir Streets (enter from Homer Street). Park from 6:00 pm for only $10:00!. (Impark has had to raise the price recently.) Be sure to identify yourself as a VO patron.
