Subscribers enjoy the best seats and prices, avoiding demand-based price increases, in addition to these other great benefits:

  • Save up to 20% compared to single ticket prices
  • Free ticket exchange for another performance*
  • Tax receipt for returned tickets*
  • Save 10% on single tickets for friends and family
  • Save on processing fees

For the 2021–2022 season we will extend a flexible policy with 2 hours notice prior to any performance, subscribers can exchange tickets for another performance, donate the value of their tickets or request a refund. Exchanges and refunds are not available for performances that have passed. For more information, view our updated Ticket Policy

What if I renewed for the cancelled 2020-2021 Season?

Subscribers who paid and renewed for the cancelled 2020–2021 Season will be able to apply their credit on account to the new 2021–2022 Season. Renewal Invoices have been mailed to our subscribers and indicate any credit on account. Please note, credit on account will never expire and can be used towards any future Vancouver Opera tickets or donated.

Will my seats change?

There is a possibility that some subscribers may need to be reseated in order to comply with current capacity restrictions (or social distancing if required) for performances in the 2021–2022 season. If this is necessary, we will do our best to reseat you as close as possible to your current seats or at seats of similar value. We will also do our best to ensure you return to your preferred seats in the 2022–2023 season. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.

Can I add on single tickets for friends and family?

Due to limited capacity and a limited number of performances this season, our top priority is ensuring there is availability for our renewing subscribers. At this time, single ticket sales are not on sale until October 12, 2021.

What if I can’t make a performance?

Subscribers always enjoy the benefit of tax receipts and free ticket exchanges within 48 hours of a performance. This season, we will be extending these benefits until 2 hours before a performance in addition to a flexible refund policy. Learn more about our updated Ticket Policy (link)

What are your safety protocols for attending a performance?

The health and safety of our patrons, employees, and artists is our number one priority and we are following the Provincial Health Orders and Vancouver Civic Theatres reopening plans. Learn more about safety protocols in place, and what to expect at the theatre. (link to safety page)
