Vancouver Opera – Know Before the Show

Know Before the Show

Know before you go

Arrive Early

Latecomers may not be seated. We suggest arriving at least 45-60 minutes prior to the performance, to ensure you have time to have your vaccine passport checked. The performance will be approximately 90 minutes long with no intermission.

e-Tickets + Vaccine Passport

Please ensure that you have your BC Vaccine Card, photo ID and your e-tickets ready to be scanned from your phone.

Pre-show + Post-show Talks

One hour prior to the performance, join us for a complimentary pre-show multimedia talk led by opera singer and scholar, Leah Giselle Field. This exciting adventure into the world of Orfeo ed Euridice, featuring audio and video excerpts, will take place in the upper lobby and is approximately 25 minutes long. Also, join us after the performance for a post-show talkback with Director and Choreographer, Idan Cohen and Conductor, Leslie Dala in the upper lobby. Both the pre-show and post-show talks are included with your opera ticket. All are welcome to attend.

Digital House Program

In efforts to reduce waste, a digital house program will be available for all ticket holders. If a printed program is required, please visit the marketing table in the lobby where we will have a very limited number of printed programs available.
