Opera in the Movies
Join us for VO’s inaugural Opera in the Park outdoor concert presenting popular music from the movies! This free event will feature the Vancouver Opera orchestra, chorus and principal singers, led by Music Director Emeritus Jonathan Darlington.

ACTIVITIES BEGIN: 1 PM
OPERA IN THE MOVIES CONCERT: 7:30 PM
COST: FREE
REFRESHMENTS: Outside food is permitted. Food trucks will be on-site.
Selections include music from The Godfather, The Simpsons, and Mission Impossible!
Arrive early! Parking is limited.
This full-day event will have activities for the whole family including balloon twisters, face-painting, a photo wall, stilt walkers, roaming performances by CircusWest and the Can Do’s, prize giveaways and so much more!
Don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs! Please leave your large tents/umbrellas at home.
