Exchanges
Vancouver Opera Season Ticket Buyers: Vancouver Opera is pleased to offer 2026-2027 season ticket buyers free exchanges to another date of the same production, or to another production in the same season. Exchange requests must be received at least 24 hours prior to the ticketed performance time by calling 604 683 0222 or emailing tickets@vancouveropera.ca. All exchanges are dependent on availability, and we will do our best to reseat you in comparable seats for an alternate performance. Vancouver Opera Single Ticket Buyers: Vancouver Opera is pleased to offer 2026-2027 ticket buyers the opportunity to exchange their tickets to another date of the same production, or to another production in the same season. Exchanges will be subject to a fee of $10 per ticket, plus any applicable increase in ticket pricing at the time of the exchange. Exchange requests must be received at least 48 hours prior to the ticketed performance by calling 604 683 0222 to request and pay for your exchange. Please Note: Any tickets purchased as part of a promotion/discount are not eligible for exchange at the discounted/promotional rate. All exchanges are dependent on availability.
Charitable Donation of Tickets
Vancouver Opera Season Ticket Buyers: Vancouver Opera is pleased to offer 2026-2027 season ticket buyers the option to donate performance tickets for a tax receipt, in the event you are unable to attend a performance. Donating the value of your tickets helps support Vancouver Opera and its artists. Please call 604 683 0222 or email tickets@vancouveropera.ca with 24 hours notice, and our ticket centre associate will be happy to turn the value of your tickets into a charitable donation and send you a tax receipt.

Exchanges
Goh Ballet is pleased to offer ticket buyers the opportunity to exchange their tickets to another date of The Nutcracker. Exchanges will be subject to a fee of $10 per ticket, plus any applicable increase in ticket pricing at the time of the exchange. Goh Ballet is unable to facilitate ticket exchanges. All ticket exchanges are facilitated by Vancouver Opera. Exchange requests must be received at least 48 hours prior to the ticketed performance by contacting the Vancouver Opera Ticket Centre at 604 683 0222 to request and pay for your exchange. Please Note: Any tickets purchased as part of a promotion/discount are not eligible for exchange at the discounted/promotional rate. All exchanges are dependent on availability. Ticket Required for All Patrons
Every individual, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket to enter the theatre. This includes infants and children—lap seating ("baby-in-arms") is not permitted. All patrons must occupy their own seat in accordance with venue and safety regulations.
Recommended Minimum Age
While children of all ages are welcome, The Nutcracker is best suited for children aged 3 and older. The performance features theatrical lighting, music, and a full-length runtime, which may not be suitable for very young children. We thank parents and guardians for using their discretion to ensure a positive experience for all audience members.
Latecomers & Disruptions
Late arrivals may be seated only during designated times up to 20 minutes from curtain time or at intermission. Please use the restrooms beforehand. NOTE: re-entry is not permitted once inside. Designated waiting areas are available in the lobby to watch on monitors.
